Durability - FilterPave simply stands up to the rigors of pedestrian and light-to-moderate vehicular traffic due to its flexible polymeric binder. The ability to elastically flex enables attenuation of both impact and freeze-thaw stresses - longer pavement life and less maintenance results.

Great Aesthetic Appeal: FilterPave provides a wide variety of color due to both its base 'aggregate' selection and optional color enhancements.

High Recycled Material Content: Approximately 90% of the aggregate utilized within this composite structure is post-consumer recycled glass, processed to be safe for walking or driving.

Ecologically/Environmentally Sensible: Specifically designed for pavement applications, the urethane binder produces no VOCs during installation or decomposition residue harmful to aquatic wildlife.

High Porosity: Nearly twice as porous as other porous surfacing materials, FilterPave enables fast stormwater and meltwater percolation into an underlying open-graded base course. This rapid water removal makes FilterPave an advantageous LID (low impact development) BMP - minimizing runoff, managing captured rainwater and meltwater on-site, reducing heat-sink effects and reducing storm drain system requirements.

Very Low Carbon Footprint:  Unlike most porous pavement surfacing materials, FilterPave has a negligible contribution to the creation of hydrocarbons in the manufacture of its components, transportation and placement.
