Alternate Daily Covers

Price & Company provides two types of alternate daily covers [ADCs] which assist in reducing wind blown debris from leaving the working face.


Geotextile Panel ADCs

Typically fabricated from woven geotextiles into panels ranging in size from 100' x 100' to 150' x 150', our ADCs offer both ease of use and durability. Each ADC includes corner reinforcement with pull loops as well as centered, side pull loops, making initial placement and orientation adjustments simple and quick. Most ADCs currently produced incorporate a 435 lbs grab strength fabric to enhance durability. If economy is needed, we also fabricate ADCs from 300 and 200 lbs grab strength stock. Regardless of geotextile used, the multiple stitch line hems, seams, loops and reinforcing makes our ADCs durable and economical for the rigors of landfill applications.

Hydraulically Applied ADCs

Instant tack development and bonding strength are the two key performance elements when using a hydraulic mulch for securing working face debris. Therefore, we utilize only Silt Stop® 705 in our preblended ADC mulches. Silt Stop 705 bonds well immediately upon contact - to glass, plastic, metal, soil, rubber - virtually everything. And this binder continues to strengthen as it dries to form a durable cover that can perform for weeks and months - in the event that the working face location changes from day to day. For simplicity and low cost during warm weather periods, our hydraulic mulch ADCs offer outstanding value.
