Triangular Silt Dike™ offers in-ditch and in-swale sediment load reduction, reduced erosion stresses, removal ease and roadside safety. Fabricated into sections utilizing a triangular foam interior and geotextile sleeve with both up- and down-gradient aprons, Triangular Silt Dike offers unique performance characteristics. The down-gradient splash apron eliminates channel/swale bottom erosion at the product toe. Its up-gradient skirt forces concentrated flows to pond against the structure rather than seeping beneath, enabling settlement of suspended solids and erosion stress reduction. And Triangular Silt Dike is easily removed without heavy equipment or subsequent high restorative costs.
