North American Green straw wattles are an effective and economical alternative to silt fences and straw bales when controlling sediment orginating from small to medimum sized 
contributing areas during stormwater runoff events. When placed on contour, straw wattles are an excellent BMP for capturing raveling soils, water, seed and nutrients on steep slopes, making vegetation establishment much simpler under even the most trying conditions. Often used in conjunction with live stakes, erosion control blankets and soft armoring, straw wattles form the anchor to steep slope revegetation treatment trains.
