Sheet Flow Treatment
Price & Company offers several products and systems used to improve the quality of sheet flow runoff prior to its discharge onto adjacent land or into nearby water bodies or riparian areas. Ecolofence silt fences provide the most basic treatment by ponding water on their up-gradient side, enabling gravity to settle medium to heavy particulates. Erosion Eel and SedimentStop® not only provides the same function for lower sheet flow rates, but also significantly capture the fine suspended solids moving within the water via the use of Silt Stop® PAMs. Sediment Retention Barriers offer the highest level of down-gradient protection via the combined use of silt fences and polymer enhanced filter media - producing high quality discharge water for a wide range of flow rates.
