Siltsack® is a storm drain system inlet protection device designed to filter most construction site pollutants from stormwater runoff before they enter the drain system.
Siltsacks are inexpensive, reusable and easy to maintain. They are produced in varying sizes to fit all East Jordan and Neenah frames and grates, including casting-specific curb openings and basin oddities. Fabricated from a high-flow geotextile and incorporating an overflow feature, Siltsacks can quickly filter large runoff volumes with a reduced risk of above-grate ponding and site flooding while capturing debris, coarse to medium sized sediments and trash. 
The large storage capacity within Siltsacks reduces the number of needed cleanout cycles. When maintenance is needed, the readily available pockets enable quick attachment to lifting equipment while internal pull straps allow fast emptying. With fewer and faster turn maintenance cycles, Siltsacks offer an economical selection for inlet protection.
Combined with site-appropriate source control BMPs, Siltsacks significantly protect stormwater drain systems.
